AOL & Verizon account errors

First please sign into your AOL account in a browser to make sure there are no errors.

Another solution is on the Add Account page of TouchMail after entering your or email address please click "Optional Settings" and enter the following:

For AOL:

Incoming server:

Outgoing server: (OR use 587 if that doesn't work)

Incoming server: 

Outgoing server:

These are the IMAP settings recommended by AOL for Verizon accounts:

If after trying those steps you still see an error, then please contact AOL to set up an app specific password and then use that to sign into TouchMail.  AOL requires that some accounts use an app specific password with apps such as ours.
