Enabling IMAP for Gmail

This should be enabled by default but please ensure your account has IMAP enabled. Follow these steps for help.

App won't connect to Gmail account after allowing access to account

The expected behavior is that a window will popup from Google asking if TouchMail can download your messages. Please click Allow. Then when you return to the app the messages should download. You can close out of the app and relaunch to see if it's been successfully added as well. If you’re still having issues adding your Gmail account after trying the options above please follow these steps:

- temporarily disable your anti-virus and then add the Gmail account

- temporarily change your browser. After adding Gmail you can go back to your usual default browser if you wish
